So exciting that the computer center is now a dream turned into reality. Thanks to Father Anaclet, Father Bavon and the generosity of CI Haiti supporters. The building was commissioned on April 26th and blessed by Msgr Gentile . There are 20 laptop computers and needless to say the community is overjoyed !

One of the most meaningful moments of our April trip for me was on Sunday morning after mass. I had the joy of meeting Chounelleca's mother and was moved to tears as she told me the story of her daughters death. She has 5 children and has lost 2 of them. It is a reminder to me that mother's in Haiti face the loss of their children regularly and I cannot imagine the pain they must go through when losing not one but two children. Medical highlights of our trip. Of the 680 kids , 330 were healthy and 350 were in need of medical care or given prescription drugs. 7.5% were found to be undernourished with short stature and low weight gain. 11% had severe dental caries, 15% had Tinea Capitis , a fungal hair infection. 14% were treated for diarrhea and parasite infection. 11% treated for acute infection, 3 patients are receiving ongoing treatment for seizure disorder, 3 patients are getting asthma treatment
