In partnership with our community health workers, we have implemented a hypertension program. Volunteers are using their training to screen neighbors for hypertension. We have 2 Community Health Coordinators who keep a record of the measurements and dispense medication as instructed by our doctors and nurse practitioners. I just returned from Haiti to dispense medications and check on the progress. I was so impressed at how they have really taken on this project to help one
